Guanine

What is it?

Guanine is a nucleotide, which means it's part of the rungs on the ladder-shaped DNA molecule. Guanine contains Guanine, one of the four base molecules that bonds with another base molecule to form a base pair.

Give me an example!

Guanine (G) will only bond with Cytosine (C) when forming base pairs in DNA molecules. Base pairs are held together by hydrogen bonding, which means the two molecules share a hydrogen moledule.
