OUTPUT

What is it?

Output is the point where the power comes out of a system. It is the point where the work actually gets done. Output is the finished product of a mechanical system.

Give me an example!

When you see the propeller on an airplane turn ... or the rotors on a helicopter ... or the tires on a car or truck, you are seeing examples of mechanical output. Once these things happen, the system has achieved its purpose and work is done.
