PAGODA
What is it?
A pagoda is a kind of building first built by the ancient Chinese as a place to keep sacred relics (or religious artifacts). Each storey of a pagoda has its own tile roof. These roofs are highly pitched (or steep) and seem to be stacked on top of each other.
Give me an example!
Have you ever seen pictures of Bhuddist temples? Many of these buildings are pagodas. Look for the tall, steep roofs that seem to be stacked on top of each other.
